The Turkey goes Missing!: A Thanksgiving Tale

     It was the day before Thanksgiving on the farm, and that meant a fancy dinner. Mia was so excited for it. She was going to make the cookies this year! She was so excited for tomorrow that she could not stop smiling. "Mia, help me with the turkey!", Her father said.

     "OK!", she replied, running to the barn.

    But there was a surprise for them. The turkeys were gone! They looked and looked and looked, but there was no sign of the turkeys. "Look around the place. They couldn't have gone far!", her father said. 

     Mia went out into the field. She saw something running and shaking the grass. It was a turkey! Mia started running toward it. But, it saw her and it went sprinting the other way. She could not catch up to it. Disappointed, she went back into the house. 

     She went to the very back to drink some lemonade. But, there wasn't lemonade there. It was a big, fat turkey! This is my chance, she thought. Mia lunged for the turkey, but stopped to look at it's terrified face. "Aww, did I startle you?", She asked it.

     "SQUACK", it said.

     "I'll take that as a yes"

     "SQUACK SQUACK"

     It looked so scared. Why did it look so sad? Then she realized; it probably thinks that she'll give it to her dad to cook.

     So, the next thing she did was talk to her dad. "Dad, how about if we do a thanksgiving dinner without a turkey?", she asked.

     "A dinner without it? Might as well say no dinner! "her dad said

     "Pleeeeeeeeeease?", she pleaded.

     "Well, I guess we can hold it back for 1 year!"

     "YAY!!!!"

    Mia raced out and grabbed the turkey and raced to put it in the barn. The next day everyone came. "This year there is no turkey!", Mia announced.

     Everyone gasped. "Instead, there is extra cookies!", she said.

     Everyone cheered. This was a Thanksgiving to remember.

One day at the Odd Squad headquarters, Olive and Otto were talking to Oren and Olaf. But in the middle of their conversation, Odd Squad was pouring water! 

They got wet on their shoes and their body. Suddenly, Ms. O appeared. She said, "Go and find who is flooding headquarters! NOW!" She disappeared. Outside was....... Underwater Ulanda!

 She was going to take over headquarters so she could swim. They convinced her to go away by shooting her with the rays of the Convince-inater gadget. It worked! Headquarters was dry again! Everything was back to normal.

The Bike's Chain is Broken!

Once upon a time, there lived a girl named Brooklyn. Once she rode her bike and one time, something got stuck to the chain. It was a stick stuck to the chain. They got it out. Again the chain came loose. They got it tight again. One day the chain got lost and so the poor girl can't ride her bike.

The Horse's Saddle Can't Stay On!

This is my second story.

Once upon a time, there lived a cowboy.

  He bought a saddle and he put it on his horse.

 But once when he put the saddle on the horse and sat down,the saddle fell.

They did it again and again. One time, the saddle blast up in the air.

It came down on the horses and cowboys. They bought a new saddle. It fitted perfectly.

The Witch's Broom Broke!

Hi everyone! Today I am going to show you my story, the Witch's Broom Broke!

 Once upon a time lived a witch.

Sometimes she goes for trick or treating.She is a friendly witch.One Halloween,Franie[which was her name] broke her broom.

She had a hot glue gun.

 She glued it back together. One day, her broom broke again. She had duct tape.

 When she was looking for the duct tape, one of the parts of her broom flew away! The witch was worried because she couldn't fly with her broom. The other part of the broom went to Chennai.

Then, the airport truck took the witch to the airport. They went on the plane for 3 days. 

Then they landed in Chennai. The part of the broom was in Srikanth uncle's house. The witch got to his house and took the other part of the broom.They went back to America and put duct tape.They also put hot glue gun. It worked!So they lived happily ever after.
